General
What is EOS Vision?
EOS Vision is a security products brand: IP and 4-in-1 cameras, NVR recorders, 2-wire video intercom, UPS, power supplies and accessories. It is distributed exclusively in Greece by SIGMA Security, the official distributor.
Where can I buy EOS Vision products?
Products are sold through installers. If you are a home owner or business, send us your needs through the contact form and SIGMA Security will put you in touch with an installer in your area. Installers see prices and stock on the SIGMA Security B2B portal.
Which app do I use to view the cameras on my phone?
It depends on the product. EOS RS IP cameras, PTZ cameras and recorders use the CybVu app, WiFi, 4G and solar wireless cameras use CamHi, and the SmartLife WiFi devices (VM-703W intercom monitor, WPD-200 digital peephole, IRC-400W camera) use SmartLife. All are free for iPhone and Android, and the right app is listed on each product page.
Are datasheets available?
Yes. Every product has a PDF datasheet in Greek and English, downloadable from the product page or from the Datasheets page.

IP cameras
What does Ultra Low Light mean?
The /ULTRA cameras use a large 1/1.8" sensor and deliver colour images from 0.0005 lux, almost complete darkness, without turning on a light.
What does Active Deterrence do?
When the camera recognises a person in the zone you set, it flashes red and blue light and sounds a siren so the intruder leaves before getting in. The /AD and /ULTRA cameras have it.
What is Dual Illumination?
The camera has both infrared and white light. At night it records in black and white with infrared, and when it detects motion or a person it turns on the white light for a colour image.
Do I need a separate power supply?
Not necessarily. EOS RS IP cameras are powered over PoE, through the same network cable. With a -P recorder or a PoE switch no power supply is needed. Most also accept 12 VDC as an alternative.
Do they record without a recorder?
Yes, most have a microSD slot (up to 256 GB) and can be viewed in the CybVu app. For many cameras and longer history an NVR recorder is recommended.
4-in-1 cameras
What does 4-in-1 mean?
The same camera outputs HD-CVI, AHD, HD-TVI or CVBS, selected from the OSD menu, so it works with most analogue recorders (DVR/XVR).
How are they connected?
With coaxial cable for video and audio, plus 12 VDC power. The microphone sends audio over the same coaxial cable.
Do they see in colour at night?
Yes. The /COLOR cameras have white light up to 20 m for colour images and infrared up to 30 m for black-and-white images in total darkness.
Analogue or IP?
4-in-1 is ideal for upgrading an existing coaxial installation. For a new installation, IP cameras offer more smart features and PoE power.
Wireless, 4G & solar
Do they need cabling?
WiFi cameras only need power and connect to your wireless network. The /SOL solar cameras do not even need mains power: they charge from the solar panel.
Where does a 4G camera fit?
In places without internet, such as plots, holiday homes or building sites. The SPD-301SOL/4G works with a SIM card and a 5.5 W solar panel with 10,400 mAh batteries.
What is AOV?
Always-on video: the solar camera records continuously at a low frame rate to save battery, instead of only recording when it detects motion.
Where are recordings stored?
On a microSD card inside the camera. You view them on your phone with the free CamHi app (the IRC-400W with SmartLife).
PTZ cameras
What is a PTZ camera?
A camera that pans, tilts and zooms remotely. One PTZ can cover an area that would otherwise need several fixed cameras.
How much zoom does the IPTZ-500RS have?
25× optical zoom at 5 MP, for detail at long range, such as number plates or faces in a car park.
Does it track targets?
The IPTZ-500RS has Smart Tracking: it automatically follows a detected target. The IPTZ-800RS/AD has smart detection and Active Deterrence with light and siren.
NVR recorders
Which recorder do I need?
Choose by number of cameras: 4, 8, 16 or 32 IP channels. The -P models (N8004RS-4P, N8008RS-8P) have built-in PoE ports and power the cameras directly.
How much storage do they take?
The 4 and 8 channel recorders take one SATA drive up to 8 TB, the N8016RS two drives up to 8 TB and the N8032RS two drives up to 12 TB each.
Do they record in 4K?
Yes. They record up to 8 MP (4K) with H.265+ compression, and the N8032RS up to 12 MP. The HDMI output shows 4K on the monitor.
Do they work with other cameras?
They support ONVIF, so they accept ONVIF-compatible IP cameras from other makers. Smart features work best with EOS RS cameras.
2-wire video intercom
What is 2-wire video intercom?
Video, audio, bell and door release all run over just two wires, so you can replace an old door phone using the existing cabling, without chasing walls.
How many apartments does it cover?
From a house up to a 28-apartment building: door panels with 1 to 12 buttons, plus VDS-12XP (12) and VDS-16XP (16) expansion modules for the VDS-12.
Can the door open with a card?
Yes. Panels ending in ID (EVDS-01ID and VDS-02ID to VDS-08ID) have a 125 kHz RFID card reader. Cards are enrolled with the IRC-01 remote control.
Can I answer from my phone?
Yes, the VM-703W WiFi monitor lets you operate the intercom from your smartphone with the SmartLife app.
How do I get a bill of materials?
Use the intercom planner: enter apartments, entrances and screens per apartment and get the door panel, monitors, distributors and power, ready to send for a quote.
Power & UPS
What does a Mini DC UPS do?
It keeps a camera, router or ONT running during a power cut. The MINI DC18W and DC36W-LCD have 5, 9 and 12 V outputs, USB and a 15 or 24 V PoE output.
Which UPS for a recorder?
The AVR UPS units (600, 800 and 1200 VA) stabilise voltage and give time for an orderly shutdown of the recorder and PC.
Which power supply for cameras?
There are 12 VDC supplies from 2 A to 16 A with 4, 9 or 18 outputs, depending on the number of cameras. The PS-1210C9B also charges a backup battery.
Monitors & accessories
What is a junction box?
A base that hides the connections behind the camera for a clean, weatherproof installation. The JBC-22RS also has a built-in 2-port PoE switch.
Which monitor for the recorder?
The 19" to 27" Full HD LED monitors have HDMI, VGA and CVBS inputs, so they connect straight to a recorder, and a built-in speaker.
What does a managed PoE switch do?
It powers and connects IP cameras with one cable per camera. The MPS-04RS and MPS-08RS have 4 and 8 PoE ports.
