When to go wireless?
When you cannot run a network cable. With WiFi you only need a socket. With 4G you only need a SIM card. With a solar panel and battery the camera stands alone in a field, building site or warehouse.

FAQ
Do they need cabling?
WiFi cameras only need power and connect to your wireless network. The /SOL solar cameras do not even need mains power: they charge from the solar panel.
Where does a 4G camera fit?
In places without internet, such as plots, holiday homes or building sites. The SPD-301SOL/4G works with a SIM card and a 5.5 W solar panel with 10,400 mAh batteries.
What is AOV?
Always-on video: the solar camera records continuously at a low frame rate to save battery, instead of only recording when it detects motion.
Where are recordings stored?
On a microSD card inside the camera. You view them on your phone with the free CamHi app (the IRC-400W with SmartLife).
