In plain words: what data we keep when you visit eos-vision.com, why, and how you can control it.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
EOS Vision is a brand of Sigma Security S.A., 5 Ethnarchou Makariou, 173 43 Agios Dimitrios, Athens, Greece, tel. +30 210 9716046, email sales@sigmasec.gr. Sigma Security is the controller for the data collected by this site. For anything about your personal data, write to the same email.
This policy covers only eos-vision.com. The installer B2B (sigmasec.gr) and the mobile apps (CybVu, CamHi, SmartLife) have their own terms.
2. What we collect and why
When you send us a message or ask for an installer
From the contact form we receive the topic, your name, phone and whatever else you fill in: email, area, company, message (and the bill of materials, if you send it from the intercom planner). We use it to reply or to send you a quote. The legal basis is your consent, given with the form checkbox, and steps prior to a possible contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
If you ask for an installer, we pass your name, phone, area and request to one partner installer in your area, only so they can contact you. From then on, the installer is responsible for the data they use in their own work with you.
Form security
Each message is logged with the IP address and time sent, to detect abusive or bulk submissions (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)). For the same reason the server keeps a hashed fingerprint of the IP for one hour to limit repeated submissions.
Server logs
Like every website, the server automatically logs technical data of each visit (IP address, time, page, browser) for security and proper operation (legitimate interest).
The site does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising tools.
3. The site's tools run on your device
The camera comparison, the intercom planner and the search run entirely in your browser. Nothing you select is sent to us unless you press "Send for a quote" and submit the form.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site sets no cookies of its own. It only uses your browser's local storage for features you choose to use:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| eos-compare | Cameras you selected to compare | Until you remove them |
| eos-bom | The intercom planner's bill of materials, to fill in the form | Until you close the tab |
5. Third-party services
- Cloudflare Turnstile, on the contact page only. It checks that the form is sent by a person and not a bot, without asking you to solve a puzzle. For the check Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and connection (e.g. IP address) and does not use it for advertising. More at cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.
- YouTube, on product pages with videos. Before you press play only the preview image is loaded from i.ytimg.com. The video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press it.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server, with no third-party calls.
- Links to the SIGMA B2B, the App Store and Google Play are plain links: nothing loads until you click them.
6. Who sees your data
Messages are read only by the Sigma Security staff who need to reply and, if you ask for an installer, the installer in your area. Data passes through our hosting and email provider, which processes it only on our behalf. We do not sell or give your data to anyone for advertising.
7. How long we keep it
Form messages: as long as needed to handle your request and up to 2 years after the last contact, unless a business relationship or legal obligation requires longer.
8. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, request portability and withdraw your consent by emailing sales@sigmasec.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
